Mawer has close to three decades of experience in assisting Not-for-Profits and Foundations in meeting their funding requirements and achieving their financial goals. We believe we have been successful servicing their unique objectives because we strive to:
- Maximize returns while minimizing risk. We define risk as the permanent impairment of capital. To us, risk is capital decreasing so much in value that the probability of recovering it over the long-term is very low.
- Maintain adequate liquidity to meet operational requirements.
- Provide excellent client service, drawing from our considerable experience in this area.
In addition, many of our investment professionals have long-standing records of voluntary board and investment committee service, which adds to our understanding and empathy of how to best assist members in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities.
