Andrew Johnson, CFA

Andrew Johnson is a director and institutional portfolio manager at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., where he works closely with a range of organizations—including corporations, non-profits, and foundations—that have entrusted Mawer with managing their investment portfolios. He values the chance to support executives, boards, and investment committees in making informed decisions and understanding how their capital is being put to work.

Andrew joined Mawer in 2007 after holding roles in both the accounting and legal departments of a private holding company in Nova Scotia, where he was born and raised.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University and is a CFA charterholder with investment experience since 2007. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Calgary, and has completed the Not-For-Profit Governance Essentials Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has also volunteered with Make-A-Wish® Canada and served as President of the Calgary Sunrise Toastmasters Club.
